Watery Wednesday.........

We went to North Bay on Sunday to see ds, and I took a photo of the Chief Commanda II cruise ship on Lake Nipissing. It had snowed the day before so the lake was covered with snow. It was half ice and half water the lake.

(as always click on the photo for more detail)

Oh, and yes it was nippy cold with the wind coming off the lake!!

I like the weather vane on the gazebo (had to enlarge to see of course). That was a very long day you had Sunday and driving in the snow? I couldn't do that anymore.

At least it's starting to melt! That's at least some progress.

Spring is just around the corner but sometimes its a long wait to get to the corner. Great photos.

All I ever get is blue water. It would be nice to see some filled with or covered with ice once in a while but then these look soooo cold. :-)

No skating there - unless it's wet you want. And cold.

Thank goodness for the Gulf Stream:) Here in Cardiff I spent the afternoon in the garden in a shortsleeved T shirt!
